Proactive Prevention

Get Notified Before Your Customers' Cards Expire

35% of failed payments are caused by expired cards. PaymentRescue monitors your customers' card expiration dates and sends automated reminders 14 and 7 days before they expire — preventing the failure before it happens.

Included in Growth plan and above.

How Card Expiry Notifications Work

A proactive 4-step process that prevents failed payments at the source.

Day -30

We detect expiring cards

PaymentRescue scans your Stripe customer database and identifies all cards expiring within the next 30 days.

Day -14

First reminder sent

A friendly, branded email notifies your customer that their card is expiring soon, with a one-click link to update their payment method.

Day -7

Follow-up reminder

If the customer hasn't updated their card, a second reminder is sent with a sense of urgency — "Your subscription may be interrupted."

Day 0

Card expires

If still not updated, the payment fails — but our smart retry + dunning system kicks in immediately to recover the charge.
